Hilcorp Consolidation Trend Continues

Author: KSRM News Desk |

Hilcorp Alaska LLC is considering two consolidations of it’s Cook Inlet properties: one on the west side of the Cook Inlet and one in its Kasilof unit.

Hilcorp filed to combine Granite Point field and South Granite Point to reduce redundancies.

The Kasilof unit has experienced a decline in production and Hilcorp has stated it may use the facilities to assist the nearby Ninilchik unit.

Recently Hilcorp consolidated four pipelines into one system.

The settlement which was accepted on August 29th consolidates the Kenai Nikiski Pipeline, Kenai Kachemak Pipeline, Cook Inlet Gas Gathering System, and Beluga Pipeline into one system called the Kenai Beluga Pipeline.

That system will be owned and operated by the Kenai Beluga Pipeline, LLC, a newly formed but indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of Hilcorp Alaska.
