On Thursday, May 6, Homer Electric Association members elected three directors to represent each district of HEA’s service territory.
DISTRICT 1 – representing Kenai/Nikiski/parts of Soldotna – Charles M. (Mike) Chenault of Kenai, Wayne Ogle of Kenai, Erik Hendrickson of Nikiski and Joseph A. Ross of Nikiski ran for the vacant District 1 seat. HEA members elected Charles M. (Mike) Chenault to represent District 1.
DISTRICT 2 – representing Soldotna/Sterling/Kasilof – Ed Schmitt of Soldotna ran against Robert Wall of Sterling. Wall was elected to represent District 2.
DISTRICT 3 – representing South Kasilof/Kachemak Bay – incumbent Roy Champagne of Anchor Point ran against Louie Flora of Homer. Flora was elected to represent District 3.
