Homer Football Powers To Home Victory Over Seward

The Homer Mariner football team opened the modified, regular season with a 48-8 victory over Seward on Saturday at Homer High School.

 

The Mariners finally took to the field for a football contest and displayed an impressive running game which amassed 261 yards, lead by a 214 yard effort by quarterback Carter Tennison.  Tennison scored four rushing touchdowns and threw for two touchdowns.  Sly Gaono caught five passes and recorded two touchdowns.
