Homer Man Arrested For Theft, DUI, Vehicle Theft, & Criminal Trespass

Alaska State Troopers received a report on Thursday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. of a report of a vehicle being stolen near McBride Avenue and East End Road in Homer.

 

The stolen vehicle was described as a 2003 blue GMC Sierra, according to the online trooper dispatch. Around 7:00 p.m., Troopers received a separate call reporting an abandoned blue GMC Sierra near Unity Road and East End Road. This complainant reported their Ski-doo was stolen when the GMC appeared on their property.

 

Troopers located 26-year-old Adam Mahoney-Ardenia of Homer in the area with the crashed stolen Ski-doo.

 

Mahoney-Ardenia was placed under arrest for vehicle theft in the first degree, vehicle theft in the second degree, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal trespass in the first degree, theft in the third degree, and driving while license revoked. Mahoney-Ardenia was transported to the Homer Jail where he was remanded and held with no bail.
