Alaska State Troopers report that a singular motor vehicle collision took place near mile ten of East End Road in Homer on Saturday morning around 12:30 a.m. An investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling outbound from Homer.
The single occupant of the vehicle was identified as 60-year-old Charles Moore of Homer, who was declared deceased on scene, according to the online Alaska State Trooper dispatch.
Further, it appears that Moore was not wearing a seatbelt. Next of kin has been notified.
Investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.
