Houston Collars Bulldogs 47-0 In Division II Football

The undefeated Houston Hawks football team walked on to the Nikiski Bulldogs home field, then proceeded to run over the Bulldogs 47-0 on the strength of a rushing attack which amassed five rushing touchdowns,  and 273 rushing yards.  Add in a pair of passing touchdowns and the Hawks score 47 points with touchdowns on 7 of 8 possessions in the first half.

 

Nikiski’s offense was held to 118 total yards, 59 of those gained on the first drive of the game.  The Bulldogs lost four, first half fumbles, were stopped on downs twice in the first half and punted twice in the first half; half time score Houston 47, Nikiski 0.  The second half ended quietly with a running clock and reserve Houston offense on the field.

 

Game Highlights

Nikiski’s Michael Mysing: 81 yards including 36 yard run in first drive

Houston Owen Mulhaney: 3 rushing touchdowns, 103 yards

Houston Tolupo Falaniko:  85 receiving yards and two touchdowns

 

The Bulldogs travel to Homer on Saturday, September 21st for a Peninsula Conference showdown.
