The upcoming 14th annual Industry Outlook Forum will focus on more than just the oil and gas economics on the Kenai Peninsula.

Beech: “Central Peninsula Hospital and the Denaina Wellness Center will be both be speaking this year which is new, the past couple of years it’s been hovering around oil and gas so that’s exciting to have them on board to talk. We’ll be hearing also from all the local mayors of course.”

That was the Kenai Chamber of Commerce’s President Johna Beech who said the annual event is a place to learn more about what’s happening in the local economy.

Beech: “The 2015 Industry Outlook Forum: Impacts of Success, the Renaissance Continues, is Wednesday January 7 and Thursday January 8 at the Old Carrs Mall and breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Wednesday and then just breakfast and lunch on Thursday. We are expecting a large crowd, we have probably about 60 seats or so available, so if people haven’t registered yet it is free to register, so you can go to our website kenaichamber.org to the about section and you can register there or you can give us a call at the Kenai Chamber 283-1991.”

You may also contact the Kenai Economic Development District at 283-3335 to register. Registration for the forum closes at 5 pm Monday, January 5.
