The Internal Revenue Service will conduct a public auction that will take place on Thursday, May 18, at 12 p.m. (with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m.) selling real estate in Kachemak Bay and Sterling, Alaska. The place of sale is the Kenai Court house located at 125 Trading Bay Rd., Kenai, AK 99611.
The first item for sale is 7.13 acres of land located at 34255 Sterling Highway, Sterling, AK 99669. The account number is 06353001. The minimum bid starts at $42,675.
The second item for sale is 9.31 acres of land located at 33094 Sterling Highway, Sterling, AK 99669. The account number is 06546002. The minimum bid starts at $119,925.
The third item for sale is 9.64 acres of land located on Hesketh Island Adventure in Kachemak Bay. The account number 19101053. The minimum bid starts at $146,250.
The fourth item for sale is 4.99 acres of land on Yukon Island in Kachemak Bay. The account number is 19330018. The minimum bid starts at $93,750.
The above properties are offered for sale separately and in the aggregate. Viewing the properties is drive by only.
Before being permitted to bid at the sale, bidders shall display to the IRS, a certified check or cashier’s check of at least 10% of the amount of the bid payable to the United States District Court for the District of Alaska. The successful bidder shall tender the balance of the purchase price at the office of the Internal Revenue Service within 60 days after the date the bid is accepted.
Bidders have the option to participate in-person at the live auction or by mailing in a bid on or before May 15, 2023.
