Lydia Jacoby, a 17-year-old from Seward, Alaska, opened her US Olympic Swimming Trials in the Women’s 100M Breaststroke preliminary heats with the fastest time in Heat Five and advances to Monday evening’s semi-final heats with the #4 seed time; the semi-finals (two heats) at 4:48 p.m. Alaska Time at the CHI Health Center Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.
Jacoby, representing Seward Tsunami-AK, entered the preliminary heats with the 3rd fastest qualifying time and posted a time of 1:06.40 to advance to the semi-finals.
The Women’s 100M Breaststroke finals are scheduled for Tuesday, June 15th.
The World and American record holder in the 100M Breaststroke, Lilly King posted the fastest preliminary time at 1:05.67
Lydia Jacoby will also compete in the Women’s 200M Breaststroke which is scheduled for Thursday, June 17th.

Qualifying will be aired in the evenings on NBCSN for all seven days of the Wave II meet.

Finals
June 13-17: 8 p.m. ET. June 18-19: 9 p.m. ET. June 20: 8:15 p.m.
All finals will air on NBC, except for those on June 17, which will be live on NBCSN and re-aired on NBC at 10 p.m. ET.
