The Christmas holiday features the 50th Annual Joe Floyd Basketball Tournament in Kodiak and the Kenai Kardinal girls and Ninilchik boys are among the teams participating in the three-day, round-robin format tournament.

The Kenai girls dropped a third close game at the Joe Floyd Tournament in Kodiak, falling to Fort Pierce Central High 36-28. The Kardinal girls trailed by only three after three quarters 29-26. The Kardinals end tournament play with a record of 0-3.
Kardinal Basketball Opens Conference Play In Kodiak
