The Kenai Kardinal soccer teams record a pair of varsity victories over Nikiski on Thursday at KCHS with Kenai seniors honored.
Kenai Girls 7 – Nikiski 0
A pair of goals for Kori Moore and senior Bethany Morris, and single goals for Kylee Verkuilen, Karley Harden and Neveah Olson guided the Kardinal girls to a 7-0 win over Nikiski.
Kenai Boys 6 – Nikiski 1
The Kenai boys built a 4-0 lead at the half and added a pair of second half goals enroute to a 6-1 victory over Nikiski. Leif Lofquist recorded a three-goal, hat trick; James Baisden had two goals and Koa Diorec added a single goal for Kenai. Gavin White scored a lone goal in the second half for the Bulldogs.
