SoHi invited the Kenai Kardinal volleyball team to join in the celebration of SoHi Senior Night; Kenai then celebrated its undefeated, head-to-head season on the Stars home court with a 3-1 non-conference match victory on Tuesday at Soldotna High School.
Kenai 3 – SoHi 1
Even mid-way through the first set, Kenai powered through game one 25-20; then, the Kardinals controlled play in the second set 25-11. SoHi’s offense came to life in the third with the Stars winning 27-25. Kenai closed the match with a 25-14 fourth game.
Emma Beck recorded 13 kills and Jorgi Phillips totaled 30 assists and six service aces for the Kardinals. SoHi’s Sadie Lane lead the Stars at the net with 15 kills.
