The Kenai Kardinals competed in the 2016 Laird Prosser/ Larry Whitmore Invitational Track Meet in the Anchorage Dome; Kenai posting a number of quality performances in the early season meet.
The Kardinal girls finished second in the overall team scoring behind Dimond High School.
The Kenai girls won the 400M Relay and the 800M Relay. Other top three finishes for the girls included:
Abby Beck: 2nd in Shot Put; 2nd in Discus
Hayley Maw: 2nd in 100M
Ithaca Bergholtz: 2nd in 3200M
Brooke Satathite: 3rd in 300M Hurdles
