Kardinals Shut Out Crimson Bears In Kenai’s Home Opener

Leading -0 at the half in Kenai on Saturday, the Kardinals scored three, second half touchdowns against Juneau for a 27-0 divisional victory over the Crimson Bears.

 

Kenai scored early in the second quarter on a 1-yard run by Rykker Riddall to open the scoring and took a 7-0 lead in at the half.  Juneau’s starting quarterback, linebacker and punter Bubba Stults was injured on the final play of the half and the game turned entirely in the second half.

 

Kenai scored on a 1-yard run by Rykker Ryddall in the third qaurter and added a passing touchdown from Connor Felchle to Zack Tuttle and a fumble recovery for a touchdown by Riddall to push ed score to 27-0.
