Peninsula Conference soccer filled the Tuesday schedule with SoHi traveling to Homer and the Kenai Kardinals hosting the Nikiski Bulldogs.
Soldotna Girls 1 – Homer 0
SoHi junior Morgan Lemm scored the lone goal in a 1-0 SoHi girls victory over Homer in Peninsula Conference action. Sunny Miller recorded the shutout in goal for the Stars.
Soldotna Boys 2 – Homer 0
Lane Hillyer and Johnny Wardas (own goal by Homer) scored in the second half for a 2-0 SoHi victory over the Mariner boys. Luke Hillyer knotched the shutout for the Stars in goal.
Kenai Boys 8 – Nikiski 0
Three Kardinal boys scored twice each in Kenai’s 8 -0 shutout of Nikiski. Sawyer Vann, Wade James, and Enrique Mercado each scored two goals for the Kenai boys. William Wilson and Dresden Reith added single goals. Ezekiel Yragui and Carnell Gump again shared time in goal and combined on the shutout.
Kenai Girls 10 – Nikiski 1
Chloe Goldsby produced a three-goal, hat trick in the Kardinal girls 10-1 victory over Nikiski. Kylee Verkuillen, Cali Holmes, Ella Yragui, Sarah Baisden, Seanna Swanson, Kate Wisnewski and Katie Johnson had single goals. For the Bulldogs, Savanna Stock scored Nikiski’s lone goal.
