The Kenai Kardinals basketball teams traveled to Homer for non-conference games against the Homer Mariners on Tuesday, with Kenai sweeping the varsity contests.
The Kardinal girls defeated Homer 52-28 with Hannah Barcus scoring 16 points for Kenai. The Kardinal boys rallied from a 43-43 third quarter tie to defeat Homer 62-53. Josh Jackman lead Kenai with 15 points.
The Kenai girls travel to Kodiak for Northern Lights Conference games on Friday and Saturday against the Kodiak Bears.
