Peninsula Conference soccer filled the Tuesday schedule with the Kenai Kardinals recording a pair of victories over Nikiski and the Soldotna Stars produced mixed results against Homer.
Kenai Girls 6 – Nikiski 1
The Kardinal girls remain unbeaten with a 12-0 season record following a 6-1 victory over Nikiski on Tuesday at Nikiski.
Kenai’s Kori Moore recorded a three-goal, hat trick; Danica Swafford added two goals and Tait Cooper scored a goal. For Nikiski, Shelby McGahan netted the Bulldogs lone goal.
Kenai Boys 7 – Nikiski 0
The Kardinal boys shut out Nikiski 7-0 in conference play. Kenai’s Carson Grimm recorded a three-goal, hat trick and Wade James added two goals while Trae Pitsch and Enrique Mercado scored single goals.
SoHi Girls 3 – Homer 1
The Star girls recorded a Peninsula Conference victory with a 3-1 win over the Homer Mariners at SoHi on Tuesday.
The Stars trailed 1-0 at the half following a Talia Weisser goal for Homer. In the second half, Liberty Miller evened the game with a penalty kick and Sadie Lane sealed the game with a pair of second half goals for the 3-1 victory.
SoHi Boys 0 – Homer 0
The SoHi boys remain unbeaten in Peninsula Conference soccer with a second tie on the season, playing even with Homer 0-0. In goal for Homer Walden Kraszeski and in goal for SoHi Luke Hillyer, each recorded shutouts.
