The Kenai Kardinals basketball teams host intercity rivals Soldotna High School on Friday and Peninsula Conference leaders Grace Christian on Saturday for the next-to-last weekend of the high school basketball regular season.
Kenai vs SoHi @ KCHS Friday, February 25
The Kardinals and Stars girls varsity meet on Friday at KCHS with the Kenai girls riding a five-game win streak, all Peninsula Conference games; and the SoHi girls posting a record of 2-2 in their past four contest.
The Kenai boys will attempt to return to their winning ways having lost back-to-back games by identical 52-51 scores; the SoHi boys look to bounce-back following four-straight losses, three in Northern Lights Conference play.
The girls varsity game is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday with the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m.

The Nikiski Bulldogs travel to Homer on Friday to face Peninsula Conference opponent Homer with seeding for the upcoming Peninsula Conference tournament still to be determined.
The Bulldog girls look for their first conference victory.
The Bulldog boys look to build on a 52-51 conference win over Kenai on Tuesday; the Nikiski boys need a win over Homer to move into a tie with the Kardinals at 3-4 in the Peninsula Conference.
Game times are scheduled for 6 & 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Kenai vs Grace Christian @ KCHS Saturday, February 26
The Kardinals play their final Peninsula Conference opponent, the Grace Christian Grizzlies, on Saturday at KCHS. The Grizzlies are undefeated, both girls and boys, in conference play with one week remaining in the regular season. The Kenai girls are riding a 5-game win streak against conference opponents. The Kenai boys can lock-in a 4-4 conference record with a victory over the unbeaten (conference) Grace boys.
Game times are scheduled for 2 & 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
