Kenai Chamber Continues Work To Fill Vacancies

The Kenai Chamber of Commerce has closed the application period and interviews are ongoing for the position of Kenai Chamber of Commerce Executive Director; applications are still being accepted for the position of the Visitor Service Representative.

 

Cheyanne Helm, Programs & Facilities Coordinator, updated the status of the Chamber’s search for a new Executive Director.

“They are closing the executive director position.  They just started interviews this week; hopefully, we will have answer here pretty soon so we can get headstrong into our 2023 year with that.”

 

Helms related that the Visitor Service Representative position remains open for applications, for now.

“As far as the Visitor Service Representative, they are still accepting applications for that.  You can bring in your resume to the Kenai Chamber or you can apply online.  It is posted with the Job Center and you just go in fill out the application and it will send it straight over to our board of directors.  Hopefully we will have someone hired for that as well here shortly.”

The Visitor Service Representative position is a full-time, 40-hour a week, including holidays and weekends position.
