The Kenai Police Department responded, on Tuesday, June 6th at around 6:39 p.m., to the report of an assault on a minor.
After initial investigation, Timothy J. Navarre, age 62 of Kenai, was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault in the 4th Degree.
Navarre was transported to Wildwood Pretrial and released shortly after processing.
Navarre is currently a member of the Kenai City Council and serves on the Kenai Peninsula School District Board of Education.
Pre-trial date is scheduled for July 6th at 9:30 a.m. at the Kenai Courthouse.
