The Kenai City Council voted to solicit proposals for the role of a manager at Kenai’s Vintage Point independent senior housing after the previous contract had expired.
City Manager Rick Koch said the action taken Wednesday night after an executive session clarifies the manager’s role.
Senior Services Director Rachel Craig said the choice to keep an on-site manager in place is very positive.
That contract will be for three years with 2 one-year extensions.
