Kenai Closes Regular Season Unbeaten In Southcentral Conference

The Kenai Kardinals completed the regular season for high school volleyball undefeated in the Southcentral Conference, 10-0, which will earn the Kardinals a #1 seed into the Southcentral Conference Volleyball Tournament scheduled for November 4-6 at Redington High School.

The Kenai girls were also unbeaten, 15-0, in head-to-head matches outside of tournament play.

 

Weekend Volleyball Recap

Kenai 3 – ACS 0

The Kardinals downed Anchorage Christian 25-11, 25-3 and 25-13.  Valerie Villegas recorded 11 service aces.

Kenai 3 – Grace Christian 0

Kenai completed the weekend sweep with a 27-25, 25-13 and 25-12 victory over Grace on Saturday to close the regular season.  Emma Beck recorded 11 Kills.

Kodiak 3 – SoHi 2

The Stars traveled to Kodiak and fell in five sets to the Kodiak Bears in Northern Lights Conference volleyball on Friday.  Kodiak took the match 24-26, 25-15, 25-11, 23-25, 15-9.

Kodiak 3 – SoHi 0

Kodiak downed SoHi in three straight on Saturday 25-22, 25-18 and 25-10.

SoHi and Kodiak will compete in the Northern Lights Conference Volleyball Tournament on November 4-6 at Palmer High School.
