The City of Kenai is still considering two proposals to purchase the former bowling alley following an Executive Session at the January 4 Council meeting.
Kenai City Manager Paul Ostrander…
Ostrander: “During that session there were two proposals that were considered. At this point we are working to see if either one of those proposals will meet the city requirements.”
Ostrander says council members gave specific direction as to what they would like to see before the proposals are brought back before the city council, although those details are confidential. The proposals and details about them are also confidential.
Ostrander: “We hope to get a resolution in front of the council as soon as possible, if we can reach an agreement with one of the proposals.”
The City of Kenai has been in the process of selling the that parcel of land, building, or both since 2015.
