The brackets for the ASAA State 3A Girls Basketball Championships were revealed on Sunday evening and the Kenai Kardinal girls are ranked fifth in the field of eight state qualifiers and open state tournament play on Wednesday, March 23rd at the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage.
The Kardinal girls, runner-up in the Peninsula Conference, first round opponent is the #4 seed Sitka Wolves from the newly-formed Eastern Conference in 3A basketball.
The Kenai vs Sitka game opens the girls bracket for 3A basketball with an 8 a.m. scheduled game on Wednesday, March 23rd in the Auxiliary Gym at the Alaska Airlines Center.
All Kenai games will be broadcast on ESPN 1140AM, 96.9FM and streamed live at radiokenai.com.
