A Kenai man has been indicted for allegedly forging documents that would have identified him as an agent for a variety of federal agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
41-year-old David Wayne Henry was indicted by a federal grand jury for unlawful production of a false identification document.
The documents found in Henry’s possession included various fake ID’s from the FBI, CIA, the U.S. Marine Corps, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Each of those identified showed Henry’s name and photo but were accompanied by identifying information of other individuals.
Henry was already in state custody for a separate case involving forgery and drug possession at the time of the federal indictment pertaining to the fraudulent IDs.
A statement from the District Attorney’s office reports that other equipment relating to fraudulent cards was seized from Henry’s possession, including: 30 access cards with microchips, 500 access cards without microchips, hologram stickers, laminating materials, printers, notary seals, a laminator and electronic media.
