Kenai City Council will meet with the Parks and Recreation Department Thursday for a joint work session to discuss the Municipal Park Playground improvements.
Councilor Terry Bookey…
Bookey: “And as you know this has been a long drawn out process and I think this is going to be the beginning of the end if you will.”
He said the purpose of the work session is for the Parks and Recreation Commission to hand over the project to the council.
Bookey: “It’ll also be there for public comment from anybody in the public that wants to come and give their last public comment in on playground equipment, locations, things like that to come into there, and then the city council will then give direction to administration on moving forward so we can hopefully see construction and completion next year.”
That work session will be Thursday, December 4 at 6 pm.
