Kenai Peninsula Graduations Begin Next Week

Kenai Peninsula students are in the last full week of school this spring and graduations begin next week.

Superintendent Sean Dusek…

Dusek: “Eight big days left for everybody and like I say, next week we have graduations so a very very busy week next week. Some of my favorite times of the year are watching all those kids who, I do remember some of them from when they were in Kindergarten and here they are walking across the stage and I get to shake their hand.”

There are also ceremonies scheduled across the peninsula to award scholarships to students graduating.

Dusek: “Hundreds of thousands of dollars are being earned by our kids and there’s all kinds of awards ceremonies going on over the next week and a half along with graduations next week.”
