BEAVER LOOP ROAD IMPROVEMENTS and PEDESTRIAN PATHWAY 
ROAD CONSTRUCTION through the season

  • Drivers should expect occasional minor DELAYS. Please drive with caution and follow all posted signs.

 

HSIP: STERLING HIGHWAY and MAIN STREET INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS 
ROAD CONSTRUCTION through December

  • Please be aware of crews working at the Sterling Highway and Main Street intersection.

 

PIONEER AVENUE PAVEMENT PRESERVATION 
ROAD CONSTRUCTION through the season

  • Please be alert to crews performing striping operations and installing signs in the project area.

 

STERLING HIGHWAY MP 45 to 60, SUNRISE LAKE ROAD to SKILAK LAKE ROAD – ADVANCED CLEARING 
ROAD CONSTRUCTION through the season

  • Crews are working on the access trails for the east side of Juneau Creek Falls to prepare the project for winter shutdown.
  • Through October, drill crews are continuing to work on the east and west side of Juneau Creek.
  • Drivers should be aware of crews and equipment entering and exiting the Sterling Highway at Bean Creek Road and Juneau Creek Road. Crews are performing drilling operations and clearing activities.
  • Hikers on Bean Creek Trail and Resurrection Pass Trail should be aware of equipment and crews near the trail system.

 

SEWARD HIGHWAY, MP 75 to 90 ROAD and BRIDGE REHABILITATION, PHASE I 
ROAD CONSTRUCTION through the season

  • Expect ONE-LANE traffic with PILOT CAR and flagging operations between 7:00am and 7:00pm, 7 days a week.
  • Please be aware of reduced speed limits between MP 81 and 90.
  • During work hours, please be aware of equipment entering and exiting the roadway, as well as shoulder work throughout the project limits.
