Kenai River Special Management Area Advisory Board Meeting April 13th

The Kenai River Special Management Citizen Advisory Committee will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 13th at 5:30 p.m. at the Gilman River Center on Funny River Road.

 

Prior to the regular meeting, one committee meeting is planned with the Habitat and River Use committee will be holding a joint meeting at 2:00 p.m.

 

Habitat and River Use committee agenda items include 2021 Kenai River Water Quality Monitoring Report, 2023 Habitat Permits within KRSMA & Other Updates,  Review of the Salmon Stamp, Hatchery Stamp, Habitat Stamp options to generate additional revenue exclusively for Kenai Watershed projects, lingering ‘upstream projects’ i.e., more toilets, develop list of ‘new’ subjects recommended by the joint committee and the Advisory Board. And an update to identified Habitat concerns.

 

Both meetings will be hybrid meetings with attendees having the option to attend the committee and regular meetings in person at the Gilman River Center and/or through the Teams meeting option.
