Kenai River Sportfishing Association Searching For New Executive Director

The Kenai River Sportfishing Association is seeking new applicants for the position of Executive Director as Ben Mohr announced his pending resignation. Mohr informed the KRSA Board of Directors of his intent to resign effective January 1, 2022, to pursue other professional opportunities in Alaska, according to a press release.

 

Bill Eckhardt, Chairman of KRSA said:

“During his tenure, Ben oversaw KRSA’s efforts to establish historic protection measures for Kenai River king salmon and developed a unified voice for the sport and charter fishing sectors to help them navigate through the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, with increased membership and participation in KRSA events, Ben leaves KRSA in a strong position for continued growth.”

In the press release, the KRSA Board thanked Mohr for his service and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors as a search is underway to find his replacement.
