In Northern Lights Conference soccer action on Wednesday, The Kenai Kardinal soccer teams each recorded shutouts of the Houston Hawks.
Kenai Girls 5 – Houston 0
The Kardinal girls defeated Houston 5-0 with goals by Lara Creighton (2), Cassie Holmes, Hayley Maw and Cori Holmes.
Kenai Boys 13 – Houston 0
The Kardinal boys overpowered Houston 13-0 with 10 players in the scoring column. Ean Atchley scored a three-goal hat trick and both Zack Tuttle and Braydon Goodman recorded two-goal nights. Max Dye, Damien Redder, Luke Beiser, Draiden McMinn, Riley McKee and Joe Brighton all added single goals.
