The Kenai girls softball team recorded a pair of victories on Thursday over the Houston Hawks at the Kenai Field.
Kenai Girls 16 – Houston 0
The Kardinals dominated Houston 16-0 in just three innings in game one with seven runs in the first inning and seven runs in the second inning. Lola McEwen pitched three innings striking out five batters.
Kenai 16 – Houston 1
In three innings, starting pitcher Kyana Griskevich gave up one run as Kenai run-rule the Hawks 16-1.
The Kardinal girls will play Wasilla on Friday at 6 p.m. on the Kenai Field.
