The Kenai Kardinals earned third place and a state berth by defeating SoHi on Saturday in the third-place game at the Kenai Little League fields, during the Southcentral Conference baseball tournament.
Kenai Central (SCC #3) opens play against Monroe Catholic (MAC #2) at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Wasilla High School Field.
SoHi (AT #1) plays Palmer (SCC #2) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Wasilla High School Field
