After the first round of peninsula-only hockey, the Soldotna Stars, Kenai Kardinals and Homer Mariners all stand at 1-1 on the season, demonstrating the continued balance in high school hockey on the peninsula.
For the season, SoHi has a 2-1 overtime victory over Homer and a 3-1 loss to Kenai; Kenai has its victory over the Stars and a 5-4 loss to Homer.
The Soldotna Stars return to the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex for contests on Friday and Saturday, January 29-30.
