She says her daughter Breana attended first and second period that Monday morning, but asked to visit the nurse’s office and has not been seen since.

Breana was wearing blue jeans and a green zip-up hoody when Jana dropped her off at school.

The teen is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 110 pounds with red hair and green eyes. She also has a birthmark on the right side of her neck.

Elizabeth Ipsen with the Troopers says an Amber Alert has not been issued because based on the information, this is the case of a runaway and not an abduction which would garner the alert.

Ipsen: “They have actually been looking for her, they did receive some information for possible whereabouts but it didn’t pan out. Obviously her mother is concerned, Troopers are concerned about her safety too so if anybody knows where she is please contact Troopers or let her know that there are people worried about her, that she needs to get a hold of her mother, let her know that she’s safe, get a hold of Troopers, let us know that she’s safe.”

Jana says she and her daughter moved to Kenai from Palmer two and a half months ago. Breana was known to go to the Kenai Recreation Center and local fast food establishments.

Any information about Breana’s whereabouts can be reported to the Soldotna State Trooper Post by calling 262-4453.
