Earlier various groups of Kenai voters weighed-in on one advisory ballot proposition: whether or not the borough should go to a vote by mail only system.
Voters: “Negative, no way I think it requires some action… By mail only? I don’t particularly favor voting by mail only… No… I’m in support of voting by mail, I think it’s a really good option for us and from what I’ve learned it’s a efficient way to administer voting… Any opportunity you can get people out to vote the better it is.”
If approved the borough assembly would then decide if they want to implement that practice based on what they hear from the public, however home ruled cities like Kenai and Seward could opt out.
