Kenai Young Professionals Begins Regular Luncheons

Following a good turnout at the kick-off event, the Kenai Young Professionals is beginning regularly scheduled networking luncheons with one at the Bridge Lounge in Soldotna this Friday.

Programs Director Pamela Parker with the Kenai Chamber of Commerce says the luncheons will take place the first Friday of every month.

Parker: “Each luncheon is going to be a little different, we are going to have a short presentation on some networking skills from the chair of the advisory council for the Kenai Young Professionals, Jon Taylor of Artistic Puppy Creative. So it’s going to be a great way not only mingle with other individuals ages 21-39 but also leave with a good takeaway and some skills that young professionals can apply directly when they go out and network.”

She says these luncheons will be more informal than regular chamber luncheons so that attendees have more time to network with each other.

The Kenai Young Professionals will continue the regular luncheons and announce intermittent evening networking events.

To RSVP for Friday’s luncheon that will be from noon to 1 pm at Soldotna’s Bridge Lounge, call the Kenai Chamber of Commerce by 2 pm today.
