“Upward Trajectory: Professional, Career & Self” is the theme and point of emphasis for the 2018 Alaska Young Professional Summit scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 30-31 at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional’s Group (YPG) is hosting the third-annual, statewide Summit for young professionals in Alaska’s workforce.  The Anchorage YPG was created in June of 2014 and is the largest young professional organization in Alaska with over 400 engaged members.

Members of the Kenai Young Professionals plan to attend the state-wide gathering.  The (KYP) is a networking organization comprised of young professionals between the ages 21 – 39 in the Kenai-Soldotna area. The purpose of the organization is to connect diverse young professionals in order to strengthen and grow the Kenai and the young professional community.

Johna Beech, Kenai Chamber of Commerce President & COO

Beech: “The Kenai Young Professions is a program of the Kenai Chamber of Commerce that we started in 2015 and we’re really excited to have a few of our members attending the Anchorage Young Professionals Summit this weekend coming up at the Dena’ina Center up in Anchorage.  It should be a good time, they always give really good information and they can come back and share with everyone here on the Peninsula.

The Summit includes two days of seminars, workshops and guest speakers; including the Keynote Speaker Adam Michaels.  Michaels is an entrepreneur and sales leader.  Through the years he has mentored and coached thousands of individuals in pursuit of their professional goals and built multi-million dollar agencies in the Baltimore-Washington, Chicago, and Los Angeles Markets.
