Travis Verkuilen may not have had the opportunity to play his senior year of Kardinal soccer; but Travis impressed the right people in Indiana to earn an opportunity to play collegiate soccer.
Kenai Central’s Travis Verkuilen signed a national Letter of Intent to play Division III soccer at Earlham College in Richman, Indiana. The Earlham Quackers play in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and finished 2019 with a 4-12-2 overall record and a 3-6 conference record.
Verkuilen, along with Dan and Cherrie Verkuilen and coaches Shane Lopez and Scott Pitsch, conducted the signing on the soccer field at Kenai Central High school.
