A cultural liaison with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe was arrested on Friday, Feb. 9 for allegedly exposing his genitals to a student in a bathroom at K-Beach Elementary.
K-Beach Elementary School employees reported a possible inappropriate interaction at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 between a Kenaitze cultural liaison aid and a student.
SPD Officers responded to the school where they contacted the school administration and 24-year-old, Christopher Adams of Soldotna. Officers began investigating an accusation that Adams had intentionally exposed his genitals in a provocative manner to a student in the bathroom.
The Soldotna Police Department initiated an extensive investigation into the reported allegations over the following two days.
Once notified of the alleged incident, Kenai Peninsula School District officials immediately relieved Adams of his duties at K-Beach, banned him from all KPBSD school campuses, and removed him from the premises.
Then on Friday morning, Feb 9, Adams came to the Soldotna Police Department for an interview. After officers completed the interview, Adams was placed under arrest for Indecent Exposure in the second degree and remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility.

According to Soldotna Police, there are ongoing elements of the investigation which will prevent the release of further information at this time.

At this time, charges reported are merely accusations and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
