The holidays are a special time of year to celebrate what is right in the world by supporting education. The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District this holiday season is giving the gift of music during the darkest month of the year to brighten the Christmas spirit. Many schools from across the KPBSD are having winter school music concerts or play to attend or watch.
Superintendent Clayton Holland told KSRM:
“We have many holiday music and performances coming up. You can check our district’s webpage under our Colander of Events or go to the schools’ social media sites to view the schedules. Consider attending a concert at one of our neighborhood schools. On the 8th, the Kenai Central high School Winter Band Concert, I believe Kenai might be part of that as well. On the 9th, Nikiski Junior-Senior Winter Concert. Just getting into that holiday sprit too and go out see the talent of our students they are incredible.”
