University of Alaska locations, including Kenai Peninsula College, are implementing a new facilities fee to students for $2.00 per credit beginning spring 2015 semester.
The fee will increase to $4.00 per credit in the fall 2015 semester and $6 per credit for spring 2016.
Those facility fees will be levied across the university system to all undergraduate and graduate students including any students enrolled in eLearning or distance courses.
The revenue from these KPC fees will remain at the Kenai River campus and be used as re investments in classrooms, laboratories, residence halls, and academic equipment specific to the campus.
