Member applications are being accepted for an open seat on the Kenai River Special Management Area Citizens Advisory Board.
This state board is tasked with providing park managers with recommendations on the management of the Kenai River Special Management Area.

Blackwell: “The advisory boards will meet generally between September and May, once a month, and they focus on state park related issues near their communities and the advisory boards are the primary method that state parks use to involve and engage the public with state park operations.”
