The KSRM Radio Group is partnering with the Kenai and Soldotna Chambers of Commerce to bring you another candidate forum today featuring the race for U.S. Senate.

Today’s forum features the race for Alaska’s U.S. Senate seat. Incumbent Senator Dan Sullivan faces challenger Al Gross in a candidate forum at 12:00 p.m. on KSRM 920AM and streamed online at www.radiokenai.com. The candidate forum will be moderated by Merrill Sikorski and aired without commercial breaks.

After preliminary greetings, candidates will have a maximum of 2 minutes to introduce themselves.

This introduction will be followed by a series of questions provided by Soldotna and Kenai Chamber of Commerce members. Each candidate will have a maximum time of 90 seconds to respond to each question.

Traditionally the Chamber forums have focused on the issues that impact the economy of our area, and the businesses that support our communities. We ask that candidates respect the format of the forum, answer questions accordingly, and avoid personal attacks on the opposing candidate. If an attack takes place, the moderator will give the candidate who has been attacked 30 seconds to respond.

Each candidate will be given a 1 minute close at the end of the hour.
