The Central Peninsula Landfill and Kasilof, Kenai, Nikiski and Sterling Transfer Sites is now closed on Sundays for the winter through April 29. Sundays will re-open for the summer starting May of next year.
From October to May each year, the landfill will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Saturday.
