Power has been restored. The cause of the outage was due to several trees that fell into the line by Mackey Lake Road.

Homer Electric Association is responding to a large power outage affecting 2,712 members in Soldotna.
According to officials with HEA, there is a report of a tree on the line near Mackey Lake Road. HEA crews are on their way to restore power to those experiencing an outage.
