Power was restored to over 3,000 members just before 5:00 p.m. Currently close to 400 member remain without power.
Original Post: Homer Electric Association is responding to a large power outage mainly affecting over 4,000 members in the Kalifornsky area.
Outages are predominantly located along K-Beach, Kenai, Soldotna and Nikiski with several smaller outages across the north end of the system.

Dispatchers are reporting multiple trees on or in lines. HEA crews are on-site and making repairs to restore power to the effective members.
