It’s been a complicated Legislative session in Juneau this year, and the toughest debates are still unresolved as the House and Senate Finance Committee continue work on a FY16 operating budget.
Tomorrow, Kenai Peninsula lawmakers will be at the joint Chamber of Commerce luncheon for a legislative update.
We asked Kenai Executive Director Johna Beech if members of the public will have a time to ask questions…
Beech: “I would like to say that there would be at the end, but we’ll just have to see with time constraints and how close we are pushing it up to 1 o’clock, if there’s public questions or not. I’m pretty sure that they’ll be able to stay after and ask and answer questions.”
Senator Peter Micciche, Speaker Mike Chenault, and Representative Kurt Olson have confirmed they’ll be there. Representative Seaton is unable to make it.
Beech said RSVPs must be received by 2pm today.
