A LifeMed helicopter was reportedly grounded in a North Sterling Field this morning due to inclement weather.
Passing motorists may have seen the chopper, which landed around 4:30am this morning. There were reportedly no patients on board and no medical emergency. Pilots decided to land and wait for visibility to improve.
The crews were retrieved and returned to Soldotna while the helicopter was left to wait out the wintry conditions.
