The Soldotna and Kenai hockey teams hosted West and Dimond from Anchorage in non-conference hockey contests on Friday and Saturday at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.
The Stars fell 11-1 to the Dimond Lynx and 7-1 to West Anchorage.
Kenai dropped a 9-0 decision to West and the Dimond contest was cancelled. Kenai, due to injury, was forced to use the West Eagles back-up goalie; therefore, the game will not count on either teams overall record.
Both Kenai and SoHi travel to the Valley for North Star Conference hockey games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
